Founded in 2009 by the late Historian and WWll Veteran Nat Hickey, the Freeport Historical Museum is located in Historic Downtown Freeport, Texas and focuses on over 300 years of history and Freeport's impact on the Texas Coast.
With a grand re-opening in 2024, the Freeport Historical Museum features original artifacts and bilingual interpretive panels that guide visitors through Freeport's rich and diverse history.
